Glasgow’s favourite Mexican Restaurant has arrived in Edinburgh! Taking inspiration from the four main regions of Mexico; Oaxaca, Chiapas, Chihuahua and our name sake, Topolabampo.

We’re not talking about those pre­packed wraps, or Tex­Mex inspired kits – we mean the real deal, amigos – the real deal.

Our menu is a mix of classic Mexican dishes and authentic street food, like tacos and tostadas with a range of exciting fillings. All of our street food is made for sharing, so feel free to order
2 or 3 per person or lots for friends. We have loads of vegetarian and gluten­ free options too, so there’s something for everyone.

Of course, what would Mexican food be without something to wash it down? Our fully stocked bar boasts a range of imported beers, wines and our delicious in­house Margaritas. It’s the perfect place to enjoy some drinks and nibbles on a night out in the city.

We pride ourselves on our menu at Topolabamba and searched far and wide during our travels in Mexico to bring that authentic taste – with family recipes from Abuelas to the very best of street food. We’re also importing direct from Mexico as much as possible to further that authentic taste. This, combined with stunning decor, and a casual­but­not­too­casual atmosphere makes Topolabamba the ideal place for people who want to experience Mexican food with restaurant dining.

Opening Hours

We’re open 363 days a year – we take Christmas Day and New Year’s Day off! However, we’re open as usual for the likes of Boxing Day & Hogmanay!

Drinks served from 12 noon – 11pm


Friday – Saturday

Food served from 12 noon – 10.30pm
Drinks served from 12 noon – Midnight
